Dr Andrew Woods FSA is Senior Curator at the Yorkshire Museum (York Museums Trust). He leads the curatorial team who are responsible for nationally-significant collections of Archaeology, Biology, Geology and Numismatics, as well as for the delivery of the Portable Antiquities Scheme across North and East Yorkshire.
Andy was one of the two curators of the major touring exhibition ‘Viking: Rediscover the Legend’. His research is focused on Early Medieval numismatics, including Viking-Age Dublin.
